May 9th, 2012 - It's our 11th Birthday!

On May 9th, 2001, Odyssey Creative was born - at least in the eyes of the State of Florida who approved our corporate status on that date. Gosh, it seems like just yesterday we were firing up our Media 100 software on a Macintosh G3, plugging in oversized CRT monitors to view our programs, and sending VHS preview copies to clients via FedEx for approvals.

Now, of course, we’re running Final Cut Studio HD in four different edit bays using dual and quad core Mac Pros, watching our content on one of the 20+ flat screens around the office, and uploading digital content for instant online client reviews. A lot has changed. Technology has become much more accessible and online video has become utterly ubiquitous. But one thing that has remained the same is just how much we love our work, our clients, our vendors, and our partners.

Many of you have observed over the years that we always seem to be having a great time. Well, any business is hard work – especially in these times of woe and want – but  we’re very fortunate to see exciting and creative results from our hard work so yeah, we are having a great time.

Thank you for all that you’ve done to make the last 11 years possible. Whether you’ve been a client or just a friend who thinks we’re cool, we couldn’t have done it without you.
